On My Way.

Hey. I hope that while you are reading this, there's no judgement. I write to express. And that's all there is to this. I hope that somewhere in this heap of words you'll find something. We're all just finding ourselves out there, but we needn't do it alone.
I wish you love.

Books over boobs.
So during the holidays, I picked up books again! I remember the days when I'd go to the library every week and bring a few home and be happy through out the week. No wonder I've been a lost soul wandering recently.

My first time reading Lee Child, it was okay. It wasn't mind-blowingly intense or anything, but good enough to make me finish the entire thing. The main character in the book was highly amusing though. I liked how the book injected a sense of "controversy" to the whole Cold War era and hinted that what we know today about the actions of the Americans are just what they want us to know, though the story didnt center on this point. Kept me occupied for a good week.

And then some time after Child I went to get this from Borders, I was supposed to hunt down the Roald Dahl Collection but I couldn't find it, and I couldnt afford the book anyway, so I decided to settle on one of the modern classics. Less than 5 bucks for every one of them! I almost got Gabriel García Márquez's  A100 years of solitude, which I regret now, but settled for this instead. Somehow, the fact that Helen's character, a wife whom had fled from her abusive husband was really intriguing, i don't know why. I'm not done with this (I've barely started), so I'll tell you about it soon!

Lo and behold! I visited the 2nd-hand bookstore today and left with this! Excited! Seriously, Roald Dahl is not a children's author. Everyone should read him. This man is amazing, all his stories are different and his characters are always vividly portrayed. I'd like more than anything to win the Golden Ticket to his imagination, i bet it'll be more fantastic than any Chocolate Factory. (haha.) I'm too afraid to read the book too quickly because then the magic will just end. (Maybe then I'll have an excuse to go back and get Skins also.)

Speaking about endings, Harry Potter VII comes out next week. I really cannot wait and I am prepared to sob and cry when they roll the credits. I mean, Hogwarts has been my dream school since I first picked up the first book and I've always had a geeky crush on Ron and Dumbledore (occasionally), and this movie is really the last. Sigh, we grow up too fast.

My Week's of mugging kind of failed. I did go through a bit of physics and chemistry and one chapter of math. I guess my emotions got the better of me this last week. 6 more weeks to prelims. I can do this.
